Shipping & Delivery Policy
All prices are displayed in New Zealand dollars, inclusive of goods and services tax (GST) and all purchases will be billed in NZD.
Online delivery orders are available only to valid NZ addresses. If you are outside of NZ email us at email@example.com for more information.
How long will it take to get my order?
We CourierPost most of our online orders and they operate on a nationwide overnight service with the exception of rural delivery addresses. For general item orders received before 12pm, Monday to Thursday, we aim to dispatch your order that same day. Orders received after 12pm may be dispatched the following business day.
For general item orders received after 12pm on Friday and over the weekend your order will be processed for delivery and dispatched on Monday or the next standard working day (if Monday is a public holiday).
If there will be a delay to your order we will email you and advise you of an estimated delivery time. If this is unsatisfactory we can provide you with a full refund, which you should request via an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Refunds may take 2 - 3 business days to process.
We will send you a dispatch email once we have processed your order which will include the track and trace number for the delivery company so you can keep track of your order’s progress.
Note: Delivery times will be slower over statutory holiday periods as courier companies do not operate on these days. Business days are classed as Monday-Friday and exclude statutory holidays.
Click & Collect Orders
For click and collect orders we will make up your order as soon as we can. Once your order is ready to be collected from your local Resene ColorShop we will send you an email notification. Please note Resene ColorShop opening hours vary, especially on weekends; our Resene ColorShop opening hours are here.
How much will it cost to send my order? (NZ Only)
Delivery charges are calculated on the total of litres of paint ordered;
41L+ $37.50 (Maximum charge)
There is no additional charge for testpots or accessory items ordered with paint. Non paint (accessory) items purchased alone will incur the minimum delivery charge of $7.50.
Testpots purchased alone will be charged $7.50 per delivery of 12 testpots. E.g. for 1-12 testpots the delivery charge is $7.50, 13-24 testpots the delivery charge is $15.
Paint orders will be charged a freight fee for every multiple of 10 litres ordered, with a maximum delivery fee of $37.50.
If the goods are faulty we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a remedy.
If you change your mind about a product you can exchange or return it for a full refund within 30 days of purchase provided the goods are returned in the original packaging and condition.
Exceptions to this are as follows:
• Testpots, tinted paints, wallpaper or accessories ordered on indent and custom-made curtains cannot be exchanged or returned for a full refund unless there is a product fault so please choose carefully. Indent items are those ordered in especially for your order that are not normally held as shop stock.
For paints/accessories that are not faulty:
• Non tinted paints and other liquid items can be exchanged. They cannot be returned for a refund.
• Unused UNTINTED paint returned more than 30 days after purchase will incur a 10% handling fee.
• Unused UNTINTED paint returned more than 60 days after purchase will incur a 20% handling fee.
Sorry, but we are unable to accept paint or accessory returns more than three months after purchase or if the paint/ accessory item is from a discontinued range, packaging or product is damaged in any way (other than a product fault) or it is not in its most current packaging.
Returns must be in original packaging and condition and accompanied by your transaction receipt.
Returns and exchanges can be made at any Resene owned ColorShop, if you are unable to reach a Resene owned ColorShop alternative arrangements can be made - please contact us at email@example.com. Unless the product is faulty, you will need to cover the cost of returning the product to your local Resene owned ColorShop or alternative agreed location.
